CHRISTmas

Today was hectic to say the least! I babysat my friends 2 children... They are good kids it just adds to the craziness of my house.
I started the day with a good cup of coffee.. Than started right away on crafting. Between the kids and my crafting I didn't get in the shower till 4.
This afternoon I had put Abby and Noah down for a nap and I went to the kitchen to bake some peanut butter bars for the ladies meeting I was going to tonight.... While I was in the kitchen I here Noah crying LOUDLY. So I follow the noise to Abby's room, he's supposed to be in my bed by the way... I open the door to find Abby and Noah lying underneath her dresser that had fallen on top of them.. I'm not sure weather I should feel angry or sorry for them. They have both been told many times not to climb on her dresser. This time they really learned there lesson!!!! Noah took a really good nap after that.:)
I was looking forward to going to the Mary Martha meeting tonight. Dan calls me around 3 to let me know he wont be home tell late tonight, that work is really stress full and he has a lot of work to do. "what do you mean your not coming home? I am going to a meeting, I already baked what I need to bring!" Cant you find someone to watch the kids?""Everyone I know will be there!" I was a little frazzled and started to feel really tired. I ended up finding a babysitter. Thank the Lord!
When I got to the meeting my friend asked me to do a speaking part in a reading. I really didn't want too... The Lord knew I needed to. It was such a great meeting and a wonder full privilege to read. The best part of tonight's meeting is that the whole focus was on Christ. This time of year is so busy and crazy that by the time we sit down at night we are exhausted. How amazing is it that  God sent his only son here to earth to sacrifice his life for you and me? A perfect baby born of a virgin. It brings tears to my eyes just as I type. This is the time to celebrate the coming of Christ and the beginning of his life that was given for us. So that we may live in peace. I am so thankful to be his child. I don't deserve the life God has given me most of us don't but it is through Christ that we may enjoy it. It is our duty as followers of Jesus Christ our Lord to let everyone the true meaning of CHRISTmas:)
I am off to lay my head down and give thanks for all that I have and all the Lord has done. Goodnight!!!!
And thank you to all the women at my church! What a wonderful time of fellowship tonight!!!

Crab again??!!

As I sit here with Abby on my lap... I count my blessings. I may complain about the noise or the mess... Sometimes I catch myself thinking that one day it will all be gone. I'm not sure how that really makes me feel, I will miss it! Time goes by so fast.... My children are growing before my eyes, I hope and pray that I am doing a good job as there mother and there Godly example.
I need to wake them and get them off to school. The sound of rain outside is  so peaceful. I hate to disturb them.
I was gone for an hour in the evening last night and got home around 7. My husband Dan bought a ton of crab over the weekend because there was a sale. Needless to say we have been eating a lot of it. So I didn't really eat any last night but everyone else did. It's so messy and I was getting a little irritated. I put my attitude in check and just sat back and watched my family have dinner. I was being entertained. So I got my camera out and started recording the whole thing. The little things in life are truly what make it so special! I learned something last night, it's okay to have the noise and mess. Because the memories will be there for a life time.
I took myself outside of the ciaos and really enjoyed what I was watching. Now I'm off to sew 3 more of 5 purses I have been working on for Christmas presents....

New to blogging!

This is really fun and very time consuming! How do I have time to blog most of you might ask... Well I really don't it's just a distraction from everyday life. So far my naked 1 year old running around the house just came and handed me poop! GROSSS!!! I couldn't believe it.... So I just had to clean that up.
My 3 oldest children are in school right now. I have a 5th grader, 2nd grader, and kindergartner. My 3 year old Noah is down the street at my friends house playing with her children. My house is not this quiet every day! The Lord knew I needed some time to myself.
Praise God. Because this morning has been all to me pretty much. Instead of making really good use of my time I have been on the computer. .Anyways that's it for this morning I'm  sure there will be more to come. Now it's back to reality:)
